The objective of the Strategic Network Grants (SNG) is to increase research and training in targeted areas that could strongly enhance Canada's economy, society and/or environment within the next ten years.

SNG are ideal for large-scale, complex research programs that involve collaborations among university, industry and government. Companies that have common research needs and are willing to share the research results may benefit by participating in a Strategic Network.
